This is the war correspondent Rostislav Zhuravlev who was traveling from the city of Vasilyevka in the Zaporizhzhia region to the village of Vladimirovka. He was aboard a civilian car, together with other colleagues from the Izvestia Information Center, which was hit, according to the Russians, by the Ukrainian bombing. RIA Novosti photojournalist Konstantin Mikhalchevsky, Izvestia correspondent Roman Polshakov and cameraman Dmitry Shikov were also injured in the attack. “The reporter suffered a broken leg, shrapnel wounds in the leg, abdomen and back. The cameraman had shrapnel wounds and a fractured hip bone,” reports Ren TV. The journalists, according to a statement from the Moscow Defense Ministry, “were working on the artillery attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with cluster munitions.
