Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a powerful condemnation of the recent Israeli military assault on a Palestinian refugee camp in southern Gaza. The attack on Rafah has resulted in the deaths of numerous Palestinian civilians, drawing widespread international criticism.

In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry declared, "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemns the ongoing killings by the Israeli occupation forces and the continued attacks on defenseless civilians." The ministry held Israeli authorities accountable for the violence in Rafah and throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, urging immediate international intervention.

"We hold the Israeli authorities responsible for what is happening in Rafah and in all the occupied Palestinian lands," the statement continued. "We emphasize the responsibility of the international community more than ever to stop the massacre of Palestinians."

This strong denunciation from Saudi Arabia aligns with broader global outrage. On Tuesday, Amnesty International labeled the attack on Rafah as a "war crime" via a statement on its X (formerly Twitter) account, calling for a thorough investigation.

The assault on the refugee camp in Rafah highlights the escalating conflict and the urgent need for a resolution to protect civilian lives. Saudi Arabia's call to action underscores the growing demand for international efforts to address and halt the violence against Palestinians in the region.

The Israeli regime has carried out another attack on a refugee camp in Rafah, killing at least 21 displaced Palestinians.

The city is still reeling from the horrific May 26 massacre that sparked global outrage.

Gaza health authorities said the attack on an evacuation zone west of Rafah killed at least 21 people on Tuesday.

At least 12 of the dead were women, according to medical officials.

Meanwhile, tanks and armored vehicles of the Zionist regime reached the heart of Rafah, according to witnesses.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas warned in a statement on Tuesday that the city "is being subjected to barbaric indiscriminate Zionist bombardment, destroying the homes and tents of displaced people in different parts of the city".

The Gaza Media Office said in a statement on Tuesday that the Zionist regime's army had killed 72 displaced people within 48 hours.

"The occupier has a premeditated intention to continue to carry out more massacres against civilians and displaced people," this source said.
