Secretary General of the Arab League: 'Stopping the aggression of the Zionist regime in Gaza is an international demand'

The Secretary General of the League of Arab States has criticized the international community's failure to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime against the common citizens of Palestine and stressed that the cessation of the genocide against the oppressed citizens in Gaza is an international requirement.

Speaking yesterday Tuesday at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Arab League in Cairo, Ahmed Abul Ghait, Secretary General of the Arab League said that the continued crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip for about a year now shows the international community the inability to stop the killings along with the military and financial aid of some Western powers for continuing those crimes and politically covering the mass killings carried out by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians.

The Secretary General of the Arab League has added that the goal of the brutal Israeli regime is to expel and make refugees of the residents of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of the Jordan River and that in this sad situation, all the countries of the world have the responsibility to to support and defend the rights of the Palestinians and confront the occupation politics of the aggressive Israeli regime.

The Zionist regime of Israel launched a brutal war and genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year. During this period, 70 percent of the houses and infrastructures of the Gaza Strip have been completely destroyed, where the severe siege and the great humanitarian crisis as well as the unprecedented hunger forced against the Palestinians are some of the things that threaten the lives of the residents of the strip.

The Ministry of Health of Palestine has announced in recent statistics that 41 thousand and 20 people have been martyred and 94 thousand and 925 others have been injured in the attack by the army of the aggressive regime in different areas of Gaza.
