Serbia confirmed the participation of the West in the war in Ukraine
The President of Serbia, confirming the involvement of Western states in the conflict in Ukraine, said that Serbia is under severe pressure from the West. According to AAA news agency, Alexander Vučić noted: "Against the backdrop of the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, negotiations with Western representatives, including on the settlement of the problem around Kosovo, have intensified and become more complex."
"They told me, 'We have a war going on in Europe, we are participating, even though we don't say it,'" he added. According to the head of Serbia, if this country (in the war in Ukraine) does not behave as it should, then it will lose a lot or everything. Vučić also explained that the Western authorities threatened Serbia with the termination of investments in Serbia, the withdrawal of all investments, the closure of Western companies in this country and the suspension of the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union if Belgrade maintains its current positions. Earlier, he announced the increase in Western pressure on Belgrade due to the fact that Serbia would not support anti-Russian sanctions. A year after the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, European and Western countries, especially the United States, by increasing sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation and supplying Kiev with all types of light and heavy weapons, are adding fuel to the fire of the military conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
