Sheikh Naim Qassem: We are now in a new phase

The Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah announced in his speech at the funeral ceremony of martyrs Nasrallah and Hashem Safi al-Din that the resistance will continue as long as the threat of occupation by the Zionist regime exists.

On Sunday, during the funeral ceremony of martyrs, resistance leaders Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din, the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, said: “Today we bid farewell to a historical, national and Arab-Islamic leader who was a guide for the freedom-loving people of the world, but the path and school of martyr Nasrallah continues.” As reported by Pars Today, citing Al-Alam, Sheikh Naim Qassem stated: “We continue the path of martyr Nasrallah to achieve our goal, which is to end the occupation and destroy the Zionist regime.”

Sheikh Naim Qassem once again expressed his gratitude to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei for the message he conveyed, as well as thanked all domestic and foreign guests and said: "This day will be remembered as a historic day in the history of Lebanon."

The Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, referring to the change in the current situation, said: "We are now in a new phase, which has its own tools, methods and approaches, and Israel cannot continue its occupation and aggression, and we will not allow them to continue massacring our people."

The Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah stressed: "Martyr Nasrallah's gaze was directed towards Palestine and Jerusalem, and he made a great contribution to the revival of the Palestinian cause." He said: "Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was the beloved and compass of the fighters of Palestine and Jerusalem, and he played a significant role in the restoration of the Palestinian cause."

Referring to the future of the resistance, he said: "The resistance continues with the presence and willingness of the people. Resistance is a faith and a right, and no one can destroy it, and we consider it our duty. Resistance is invincible and rooted in the people's faith and continuous love."

Sheikh Naim Qassem also emphasized: "The resistance will continue as long as the threat of the Zionist occupation exists, and we oppose Donald Trump's plan to force Palestinians to migrate, and we will help the Palestinians."

Noting that 75,000 Israeli soldiers were unable to advance against the resistance, Sheikh Naim Qassem added: "We will not allow America to rule Lebanon. They (the Zionists and Americans) thought that they could achieve through political means what they could not achieve through military pressure, but they failed on this path as well."
