Shifting Tides: Gaza's Resistance Triumphs as Israel's Ground Offensive Falters
In recent days, Israeli troops have conducted ground operations against the Gaza Strip from three fronts, with support from nearly one hundred warplanes. However, these attacks have not resulted in significant gains for the Israeli forces; instead, they have faced further defeat and entrapment.
The United States, a staunch ally of Israel, has faced significant pressure from both domestic and foreign public opinion due to its extensive support for the Israeli regime, including financial, military, intelligence, and media assistance. As a result, the White House is searching for a justification for its backing of Israeli war crimes, especially in light of recent failures in the ground invasion of Gaza.
It is important to note that Washington, along with a few other Western governments, has been the main defender of Israeli crimes against Palestinian civilians and has actively participated in the ongoing ground battle.
Despite the comprehensive support provided by the United States for these brutal attacks on innocent Gazans, the Israeli regime's record of crimes remains indelible, with no tangible military achievements to show. Furthermore, their actions have only intensified Palestinian resistance and further oppressed the people of Gaza.
While the Zionist ground forces started their operation in Gaza, bombarding Beit Hanoun in the north and Khan Yunis in the south, local Palestinian sources indicate that the Israeli forces have been completely immobilized and have halted their advance on these fronts.
Over 24 days have passed since the start of the Israeli regime's brutal aerial attacks, and it is clear that this conflict has severely damaged Israel's intelligence, security, and military establishments. Witnesses present at the battle scenes report that the Israeli forces have failed to make significant progress towards Gaza, except for a meager hundred meters in open, non-residential areas. Ultimately, they have been forced to retreat behind border barriers.
To mask their ignominious defeat in the recent ground attacks against the Palestinian resistance, Israel has directed its blind wrath towards the innocent population of the besieged Palestinian enclave of 2.3 million as the United States has provided comprehensive support in various domains, including air-to-surface missiles and electronic warfare.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Telecommunication Company has announced the complete severance of the Internet and all communication services within the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the Hebrew daily Ma'ariv has reported the failure of Israeli forces to penetrate Gaza, while Israeli warships continue to bombard the region in a barbaric manner.
In response, the spokesperson for the Hamas resistance movement emphasized in an interview with Qatar-based Al Jazeera TV that the Zionist enemy is attempting to boost its army's morale through propaganda tactics. The spokesperson asserts that these allegations are completely misleading and baseless. In fact, the failure of the Zionist regime in their ground attacks on Gaza and the resolute defense mounted by the Palestinian resistance forces have forced the leaders of Tel Aviv to mobilize all their resources in an attempt to reoccupy Gaza.
Abu Obeidah, the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has declared that the military and intelligence superiority of the enemy has come to an end. He asserts that the era of Israel's defeats has begun, adding, "We do not implore the Arab rulers to defend the children of Gaza or the holy sanctuaries or mobilize their armies, for we have undertaken the mission of destroying Israel."
