South African representative: Israeli actions in Gaza are a clear example of genocide

Molekane's comments came after South Africa's Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola said on Friday that Israel had "shamefully" failed to reject South Africa's complaint of genocide in the Gaza Strip. The South African official's statements came after an Israeli representative appeared in court at the second hearing of South Africa's complaint at the International Court of Justice and presented his arguments in favor of dismissing South Africa's complaint. The first hearing in South Africa's complaint against Israel for genocide in the Gaza Strip took place on Thursday. The South African representative stressed in court that the Zionist regime is pursuing a policy of apartheid against the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip. A few weeks ago, South Africa filed a complaint with the Hague Tribunal asking it to investigate allegations that Israel committed genocide during the Gaza War. After Israel's latest defense at the International Court of Justice, South Africa's justice minister said: "The Israeli regime has suffered a disgraceful defeat."
