The Syrian Ministry of Defense in a statement Sunday (21/4/2024) announced attacks on remaining hideouts of terrorist groups in response to repeated attacks by terrorists on a number of villages and Syrian army bases.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense attacked hideouts, bases and military equipment of terrorist groups using planes, drones and artillery on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor, Eastern Syria and Palmyra, and destroyed their drones on the outskirts of Aleppo.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated that the Syrian military targeted a terrorist group that tried to attack a checkpoint on the outskirts of Daraa, which resulted in a number of terrorists being killed and a number of others being injured.

On Friday, terrorist groups attacked a bus carrying the Quds force in central Syria, killing at least 22 people.

The crisis in Syria began in 2011 with a massive attack by terrorist groups backed by Saudi Arabia, the United States and their allies to shift the regional balance of power in favor of the Zionist regime.(PH)
