The armed forces of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries will conduct joint military exercises in July

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will hold the joint operational-tactical command staff exercises "Birlestic-2024" in July of this year.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

According to the press service, the exercises will take place at the "Oimasha" military training ground in Kazakhstan, as well as in the Tokmak cape of the Caspian Sea.

"Activities for the implementation of training-combat tasks will be carried out in the direction of defining the zone of armed conflicts", the message explains.

According to the information of the Ministry of Defense, a conference was held in Aktau with the participation of representatives of the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, where a number of issues related to the preparation of military exercises were discussed.
