The African Union (AU) has strongly condemned the continuing fighting between military generals in Sudan and has called for an immediate end to the fighting without any conditions.

The call has been made by the AU Peace and Security Council in its statement on Saturday and after its recent meeting which highlighted the current situation in the country of Sudan, which has been badly affected by internal fighting. One part of the statement said: This council strongly condemns the groundless fighting that continues to cause great damage, between the RSF Rapid Aid Forces and the Sudanese Army, SAF. The statement added that the war between military generals in Sudan has caused serious harm to the security and humanitarian situation in the country and in neighboring countries. Dead bodies spread everywhere due to the war between the military generals in Sudan The AU statement also strongly condemned the indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians, the massive destruction of infrastructure, including diplomatic buildings, and the looting of national and civilian property as well as the sexual abuse of women and girls, and said that all such actions are a violation of international laws and human rights. The African Union, which is the largest organization in Africa, has emphasized in its statement that the Sudanese crisis cannot be resolved by military means and has encouraged a true, comprehensive, truly representative and inclusive dialogue, because it is the only way Sudan will be able to have sustainable peace and security. The Council has emphasized its call to the conflicting parties "to cease fighting immediately and without any conditions and to end the unnecessary conflict which continues to cause great and irreparable losses to Sudan.
