The ceasefire agreement in Gaza has been extended for 2 more days

on Monday, after the end of the four-day ceasefire, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has announced that the ceasefire in Gaza has been extended for two more days. While confirming the agreement, the Hamas movement has said: We have agreed with our brothers in Egypt and Qatar on the extension of the ceasefire for another two days under the same conditions as before. Majed bin Mohammad Al-Ansari, the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, has emphasized that efforts to extend the humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip are still ongoing and said: 'The purpose of extending the ceasefire is to deliver aid and release prisoners and captive We have received a message from the other side to extend the ceasefire.' Al-Ansari has also expressed his hope that the ceasefire will lead to an end to the conflict between the Palestinian resistance groups and the Zionist regime.

It is worth pointing out here that the 4-day ceasefire came into effect on the morning of Friday, November 24, after 49 days of fighting between the Islamic militant group Hamas and the Zionist regime in Gaza. The aggressive Israeli regime's desire to extend the ceasefire in Gaza comes at a time when experts even in occupied Palestine (Israel) doubt the power and strength of the regime to achieve its war goals in Gaza. The operation was one of the biggest attacks ever carried out against the Zionist regime.
