Israel's attacks on Gaza and the West Bank continue
The Zionist government's Israeli military has deployed troops around the Aqsa Mosque in the holy city of Beitul Mogaddas, Jerusalem, and has been attacking and detaining Palestinians.
According to the international news agency AP , on the 23rd, Israeli forces prohibited local Palestinians from entering the Aqsa Mosque and attacked some Palestinians who tried to enter the mosque with batons and tear gas. This move by the Israeli military comes as the Islamic month of Ramadan approaches, and means it has tightened restrictive measures compared to last year. Meanwhile, the Israeli military has also intensified its attacks on Gaza. In the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, refugees are suffering from starvation. Israeli forces are blocking humanitarian aid from entering the camp and forcing northern residents to migrate to the south. The local representative of WFP/World Food Program said that approximately 500,000 people were suffering from hunger in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire.
