The Chancellor of Germany has said that he has a big disagreement with the Prime Minister of Hungary about how to handle the crisis in Ukraine and admits the existence of such errors within the European Union regarding Ukraine.

The German Chancellor admits to disagreeing with the European Union about Ukraine

The Chancellor of Germany has said that he has a big disagreement with the Prime Minister of Hungary about how to handle the crisis in Ukraine and admits the existence of such errors within the European Union regarding Ukraine.

Olaf Scholz has indicated the way that all members of the European Union do not support a specific position regarding the crisis in Ukraine and said: The views of Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, regarding the war in Ukraine differ from the views of many leaders of the member states of the European Union.  

Viktor Orban has been critical of the EU's support for Ukraine and called for an immediate ceasefire between Moscow and Kyiv. The Prime Minister of Hungary has also condemned the Western sanctions against Russia.

Russia launched a military attack against the Luhansk and Donetsk regions on February 24, 2022 after officially recognizing the separation of those regions from Ukraine. 

Moscow announced that the goal of the action is to remove Ukraine from the hands of the Nazis, disarm the country, solve its security issues and respond to the request for help from the people of Luhansk and Donetsk.
