The leader of the Islamic struggle movement of Palestine, Hamas, Yahya Sinwar has written a letter to the leader of the Hezbollah movement of Lebanon, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, promising that the movement of muqawama or Islamic struggle "will remain strong" in the way of defeating the illegal regime of Israel.
Sinwar's letter on Friday was written in response to Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah's condolence message following the assassination of former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyah in Tehran.
In the letter, Sinwar, referring to the death of martyr Ismail Haniyah and his bodyguard in the terrorist attack carried out by the Zionist regime of Israel, said: "We in the Palestinian Islamic Struggle Movement have received with gratitude and pride your good message to mourn our two martyrs and your companions in jihad and resistance."
Haniyah was martyred in July with her bodyguard in her residence north of Tehran after attending the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Sinwar hailed Haniyah as "a symbol of the Palestinian nation", saying her blood and the blood of other Palestinians will increase their strength and power "in the face of the Nazi Zionist regime".
In addition, the leader of Hamas said that the Palestinian people are united and have chosen jihad and resistance in response to the Zionist project and added that the Palestinians will protect their holy places which are the city of al-Quds and the al-Aqsa Mosque.
