The peace treaty will not solve everything 100 percent, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated in an interview with Azerbaijani television. According to him, Azerbaijan is the author of all important initiatives related to the peace agreement. "The process does not depend on the wishes of one party. It is important here that both sides take appropriate steps. After the complete restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, we are carefully following the messages of the political leadership of Armenia. We also hear positive feedback." Bayramov said that the official Baku received the next package of recommendations regarding the peace treaty from Yerevan at the end of November this year. Within a month, the package of recommendations developed by us was presented to Armenia. The process continues. I think the meetings will take place in 2024.

Azerbaijan has sent Armenia a response to the latest proposals regarding the peace treaty. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeihun Bayramov. "The package of proposals, on which we worked earlier for a month, was transferred to Armenia," Bayramov stated in an interview with the state TV channel AzTV. The minister added that negotiations with Armenia are ongoing. He noted that he expects the parties to meet in 2024. Bayramov emphasized that Baku has recently been receiving positive signals from Yerevan, but they expect real actions from Armenia regarding the peace process. "We must understand that the peace agreement is not a 100 percent solution to all issues. The peace treaty is the basis for further discussions. At least they are conditions for forming normal social relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia", added the minister. Earlier, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly considered it possible to discuss the option in which the issue of determining the borders with Azerbaijan is considered separately, after the signing of the peace treaty by the parties. Before that, the Armenian side announced the possibility of signing the document by the end of the year, but later the dates were changed to January 2024.
