The reason for Trump's victory in the US presidential elections

The final results of the US presidential elections have been announced. Republican candidate Donald Trump was declared the winner as a result of the counting of voters' votes. He collected 277 electoral votes. Kamala Harris, Trump's chief campaigner, received 224 electoral votes.

This difference in votes was unexpected, because according to polls conducted by media and social centers in recent months, Harris was always in the leading position. However, a few days before the election, the situation in the "swinging" states changed and in many of them Trump was ahead or was very close to Harris in the number of votes.

According to experts, the main reason for Trump's victory is the widespread dissatisfaction of the people with the current situation in the country and the hope for change.

Referring to the results of the elections, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham wrote in his post in X: "This result is not a puzzle. When 70 percent of voters think America is on the wrong track, and the Democratic candidate is the vice president of the country to take it down the wrong track, you're probably going to lose."

Over the last 4 years, Americans have had so many problems that they can no longer cover the cost of living due to inflation and low wages. The world is literally on fire and in this situation the Democrats could not expect victory.

Biden's foreign policy, the design of which was also participated by Kamala Harris as vice president, is unacceptable. In recent years, the Biden administration has provided billions of dollars in military aid and weapons to Ukraine, one of the main enemies of the United States in its war with Russia, which has drawn criticism from Republicans, including Trump.

On the other hand, since the beginning of the Gaza war, instead of efforts to end it, the Biden government has provided 19 billion dollars in military aid to Israel, becoming responsible for the continuation of the war and the genocide of the Palestinians. This policy conducted by Biden was criticized by American youth, especially students.

as a result, a pro-Palestinian student movement was formed in the United States.
Kamala Harris, as Biden's deputy, instead of making serious and effective efforts to end the war in Gaza and establish a ceasefire, made only a few superficial and ineffective statements in this regard and repeatedly emphasized the continuation of comprehensive support for Israel.

The above internal and external factors together caused the majority of Americans to become disillusioned with the Democrats and choose Trump instead of Harris, hoping that the state of the country would change.
