The United Nations is concerned about the deteriorating human rights situation in the West Bank
The United Nations has expressed its concern about the deterioration of the human rights situation in the West Bank of the Jordan River in the lands occupied by the illegal Israeli regime. Explaining the issue, Ravina Shamdasani, Spokesperson of the United Nations Human Rights Office, said in a press conference on Friday: Since October 7, there have been reports of the killing of 69 Palestinian martyrs, including 15 children and one woman, with Israeli security forces and drones in the occupied West Bank. Insisting that the settlers' violence against the Palestinian people has "doubled" in the area, Shamdasani has continued to say: 'Six Palestinians have been martyred by armed Zionist settlers and a large number of Palestinian families have also fled their homes.' Mass murder of Zionists against Palestinians The spokesperson of the United Nations Human Rights Office added that:
'The number of arbitrary arrests of Palestinians in the West Bank of the Jordan River, including activists and Palestinian workers who were working in the occupied lands has increased along with reports of abuse and neglect of the law.' The United Nations spokesperson has emphasized that the issue must be stopped immediately. In the past two weeks, since the humiliating defeat of the Zionist regime and the forces of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, in the al-Aqsa Storm operation, Tel Aviv has initiated and continued brutal attacks of revenge against Palestinians, including women and innocent babies. Many Palestinians in the West Bank are denied freedom of movement, including seeking hospital services for medical treatment. The illegal regime of Israel has been carrying out brutal attacks against the Noor Shams camp in Tulkarm town on the West Bank of the Jordan River since Thursday morning.
