The World Health Organization calls again for an immediate end to the war in Gaza
The head of the World Health Organization has once again called for an immediate halt to the barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip. Tedros Adhanom, Director General of the World Health Organization, wrote on Sunday in the X social network repeating his request to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and an immediate cessation of fighting in the zone. He added that it is a great tragedy to witness the health system being destroyed in Gaza in front of the eyes of the world. The World Health Organization warned last week that there is no longer a functioning hospital in the northern Gaza Strip following the attacks of the Zionist regime in the area. Hospitals that should be protected according to international law from October 7, 2023 have been repeatedly targeted by the attacks of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip. The situation of the people of Gaza Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime has been carrying out criminal killings in the region and the West Bank of the Jordan River against the defenseless and oppressed citizens of Palestine with the full support of Western countries. The cease-fire continued for seven days and finally on the morning of Friday December 1, 2023 the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza. In order to avenge the attacks of Al-Aqsa Hurricane and to compensate for its failure and to stop the muwaqam operations, the Zionist regime closed all the crossings of the Gaza Strip and still continues to bombard the area. Since the attacks of the Zionist administration in the Gaza Strip began, more than 20,424 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, have been martyred and 54,36 others have been injured.
