According to Aydınlık newspaper, TGB Chairman Kayahan Çetin, who made a statement on behalf of the group, said: “We salute the international intifada that started against the USA and Israel. “The uprising sparked in Palestine against the occupation of US imperialism and Israeli Zionism is burning the whole world today. Palestine's resistance to this brutal genocide ignited a popular movement all over the world against Israel and its biggest supporter, the USA. “Dozens of people are shouting 'Freedom for Palestine' slogans in universities, streets and neighborhoods in the USA and Europe. “These actions are the flag of independence not only of Palestine but of all oppressed nations. An international usufruct against US and Israeli imperialism!” This is not the first time that the Muslim people in Turkey protest the policies of the racist Israeli regime and its supporters towards the Palestinian Muslim people in Gaza. Over the past seven months, dozens of anti-Israel demonstrations have been held in major cities in Turkey in support of the Palestinian people.
