UK admits to cutting arms supplies to Ukraine
The UK Defense Secretary acknowledged that London and Ukraine's other allies are facing a shortage of weapons to send to Kyiv.According to ITAR-TASS, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said: "London and Ukraine's other allies are forced to buy more weapons because they can't get them from national reserves."
Wallace added: "The West supports the provision of arms and financial assistance to Ukraine, without putting pressure on Kyiv to negotiate with Moscow."Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told Bloomberg that the alliance should increase the production of weapons, as its stockpiles of weapons were depleted due to supplies to Kyiv.
Russia began hostilities in Ukraine on February 24 after provocative NATO actions on the border of the country, and the countries of the West, especially the United States, not only did nothing to reduce tension and end the conflict in Ukraine, but on the contrary, sending equipment and weapons and putting pressure on Russia, they fueled the war even more.
