Ukrainian Drones Attack Western Russia
Ukrainian troops resumed drone attacks on Russia in the city of Rylsk, in the Kursk region, which is located in Russia's western region. After the UN Security Council meeting, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, made a strange statement, saying that the use of ammunition containing depleted uranium does not pose a direct radiation threat. Meanwhile, Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson of the United Nations on Wednesday after confirming reports of shipment of heavy tank shells with depleted uranium from the US to Ukraine, said, "The United Nations has always been concerned about the use of ammunition containing depleted uranium in parts of the world wherever,". Last week, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced Washington's new $175 million military package to Ukraine at the same time as Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Kyiv, and announced that in this military package, they would provide ammunition containing depleted uranium to Ukraine. Previously, Britain also sent weapons containing depleted uranium to Ukraine several months ago.
