UN: Iran has a positive role in the events of West Asia
The Secretary General of the United Nations has expressed his concern about the ongoing tension in the West Asian region and said: Iran has a positive role in the events of the region and is making efforts to strengthen stability and security.
United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said this due to the concern of increasing tensions in the West Asian region after Israel's attacks against the people of Gaza and the American support for Tel Aviv. He said: Considering the positive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the events of the West Asian region, we ask Tehran to do everything possible to prevent the spread of tensions in the region. Guterres emphasized that: "We must all do everything we can to restore stability and reduce anxiety in the region of West Asia and the Red Sea." The illegal regime of Israel has continued attacks and genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip for several months now with the help of Western countries, especially the United States. The Israeli attacks have killed more than 28,000 people so far, most of them women and children.
