UN warns Israel is blocking humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said the Zionist regime was preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the Gaza Strip.
According to AP, Volker Türk said that the difficult and painful conditions in which the Palestinian people continue to live on the barricade are unimaginable, adding that if the war does not stop, it will infect and engulf the surrounding areas like a virus.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, noting that more than 42,000 Palestinians were martyred in the Gaza Strip last year, called for the intervention of international organizations and countries around the world to end the great pain and suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
According to this report, the Zionist regime committed 6 crimes in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, resulting in 65 deaths and 140 injuries.
With these deaths, the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip since the Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023 has reached 42,409, while the number of wounded has reached 99,153.
Meanwhile, Oxfam and 37 other aid organizations issued a statement on Wednesday warning of the dire humanitarian situation in northern Gaza, warning that food supplies had not reached the north of the region for 16 days and that the world must not remain silent about the crimes of the Zionist regime.
"The Gaza Strip is at risk of disappearing and world leaders must immediately put an end to the genocidal crimes being committed by the Israeli regime," the statement said.
