The report comes just days after the United Nations blacklisted the regime's army - also known as the list of shame - for violating children's rights in conflict zones. The Zionist administration of Israel has continued its brutal attacks against Gaza despite the resolution of the United Nations Security Council calling for an immediate ceasefire in the besieged Palestinian territory.

The effects of the aerial attacks of the illegal Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip

Eight months have passed since the Zionist regime started a brutal war against Gaza, most of the buildings in the area have turned into ruins while the Zionist army continues to block the delivery of food, clean water and medicine to the residents of the area who are suffering from hunger.

The Zionist regime has been sued and accused of genocide in the International Court of Justice ICJ, whose recent ruling has ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians have fled to seek asylum. due to the war before the city was invaded on May 6.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has warned that approximately 3,000 Palestinian children are on the verge of dying in front of their relatives due to lack of treatment for severe malnutrition in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Adele Khodr, Director of UNICEF in the region of West Asia and North Africa has expressed her concern about the dire situation of children in the Gaza Strip and added that only two out of three centers to treat children with high levels of malnutrition in Gaza, being they work.

Khodr said, if these 3,000 children are not treated as soon as possible, they will fall into the risk of becoming more ill and experiencing serious and dangerous health problems, and join the ever-growing list of boys and girls killed in this inhuman and man-made disaster.

At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned about the dire situation of children in the Gaza Strip and explained that more than 8,000 children under the age of 5 in Gaza are suffering from high levels of malnutrition due to the brutal war and genocide perpetuated by the illegal Israeli regime.

WHO Director General

The Director General of the UN organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that instead of having a happy childhood, children in the Gaza Strip are going through fear, sorrow and cruelty.

According to the official figures released, more than 37,000 Palestinians, including more than 15,500 children have been martyred since October 7, 2023, and almost 70 percent of the civil infrastructure of the Gaza Strip, including schools, residential houses and hospitals have been badly damaged in the areas where the defenseless Gazans live.
