UNRWA: 63 women killed every day in Gaza Strip
The Palestine Refugee Relief and Employment Agency in the Near East (UNRWA) warned on International Women's Day that the women of Gaza continue to bear the consequences of this barbaric war waged by the Zionist regime.
“On average, 63 women are killed every day in the Gaza Strip, 37 of them mothers forced to leave their families,” are UNRWA’s latest warnings on International Women’s Day.
Many Western authorities have repeatedly warned about the plight of women and children in Gaza, but they have done little to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime.
During his annual speech this morning (Friday), the American President said that "more than 30,000 civilians have been killed in the Gaza Strip, including thousands of innocent women and children."
Joe Biden continues to support the Zionist regime and resists calls to pressure Tel Aviv to stop crimes against Palestinians.
UNRWA warned about the situation of women in the Gaza Strip following the crimes of the Zionist regime in a message published on the social page "X" and said that at least 9,000 women have been martyred in Gaza since October 7, and stressed that the number is likely higher.
UNRWA explained that "this figure is likely lower than the actual figure because more women died in the rubble."
The Executive Director of Women's Affairs of the United Nations said that more than 9,000 women have been martyred as a result of the Zionist regime's army's attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past five months.
She also stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian assistance in Gaza and said that peace in Gaza is impossible without justice for all victims.
Coinciding with International Women's Day; The Palestine Refugee Relief and Employment Agency (UNRWA) reported that in the Gaza Strip, an average of 63 women are martyred every day and more than 72,000 people have died so far, 72% of them women and children.
The number of Palestinian women martyrs reached more than 9,000 on International Women's Day, the executive director of the United Nations Women's Affairs said more than 9,000 women were martyred in attacks by the Zionist regime's army on the Gaza Strip in the past five months.
