The United States Armed Forces said a three-drone attack on a concentration of troops in Iraq left a number of soldiers with "minor injuries." The US Military Command Center in the Middle East, CENTCOM, early Thursday (19/10/2023) announced that, in the last 24 hours, three drones attacked US military bases in Iraq. In a statement released by CENTCOM, US troops tracked the drones, and it was discovered that the attack by one of the drones had injured a number of US soldiers. On Wednesday, Iraqi media reported drone attacks on two US military bases, namely Al Harir and Ain Al Assad, where US troops were gathered, and the international Coalition. Moments after the drone attack, one of the Iraqi resistance groups, calling itself Tashkil Al Waritheen, claimed responsibility for this attack. The resistance group announced that it had attacked two US military bases, and this attack was carried out to support the Palestinian people, and the Tufan Al Aqsa operation.
