US Treasury Department hacked

The US Treasury Department claimed on Monday evening that a Chinese-backed "player" was responsible for this latest cyberattack on the department. The French news agency AFP reported that this cyberattack caused the failure of some of the US Treasury Department's equipment and systems.

America, which created a cyber command in 2009 and turned it into one of the 11 departments of the Ministry of Defense, now in 2024, with a budget of $15 billion, has created a cybersecurity command to spy on allies and enemies.

This center, which actually operates in accordance with the activities of the previous organization, has been activated in 17 countries allied with America, including Germany, Denmark and Italy. According to the report of the Russian "PIR Center", this center transfers all confidential information and news from the leadership of these countries to American intelligence agencies.

According to this report, Washington's ultimate goal with this action is certainly not the control and surveillance of its allies. The American Central Intelligence Agency is trying to expand the network of hacking groups and the development of large virus programs in the world with this method. The main goal of this approach is to obtain espionage information, personal data and have access to vital structures to create problems in their functioning.

According to a report by the CBS television channel, large American companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google have also been actively used in this regard. More than 250 employees of American intelligence agencies have key positions in these large companies, in order to be able to control their activities.

This shows that American IT giants have become a tool for the liberal elites of this country and are seriously cooperating with the intelligence institutions of this country and with the US military. In addition, American IT companies under slogans such as "guaranteeing system security" continue to make a relentless effort to completely control the digital space around the world. Global Times writes about this: "The United States has been providing its allies, especially members of the "Five Eyes" intelligence alliance (Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand), with communication and information equipment for many years, due to the high probability of the presence of special software and hardware and virus programs for the purpose of illegal access to information (from behind doors), but now it has created many risks for those countries."

Bruce Schneier and Matthew Green, two experts in the field of cryptography, believe that the existence of such backdoors for intelligence services under the pretext of fighting crime means creating problems in the security of countries. According to them, these measures significantly reduce the security of information systems and make them vulnerable to cyberattacks by fraudsters and foreign intelligence agencies. This means that this illegal and unofficial act of the Americans will ultimately end up harming its close allies, just because the absolute superiority of information even in the allied countries of the United States should be only in the hands of Washington.

Also, the Russian news agency Ryanovsi revealed the American program in the cyber field in Ukraine. According to this news agency, Washington has implemented an experimental project called the "Information Technology Army" in Ukraine. In this plan, cyber crimes against Russia are attempted by the Central Intelligence Agency and the Security Service of Ukraine. The exact line between official and criminal cyber structures is deliberately "blurred" to make it impossible to identify who is behind these cyber crimes. For example, the Russian authorities have discovered connections between the Ukrainian intelligence service and Al-Qaeda militants in Africa. Such communications are used precisely in this direction. In this way, the Americans have done all their work through and on behalf of the Ukrainians, and they ultimately put the responsibility for these attacks on the shoulders of Ukraine.
