According to ArabNews, some unofficial sources also reported that the explosion was heard in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen. The attack by US warplanes on northern Yemen came as Abdul Malik al-Ajri, a member of the political office of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, warned on Monday evening: "Escalating tensions and attacks on us will never lead to a solution to the crisis in the Red Sea." He added: “An escalation of war against us will not prevent Yemen from refusing aid to Palestine.” Al-Ajri previously cited US and British attacks on Yemen as consistent with continued support for the Zionist regime and said: "America has jeopardized the security of the Red Sea." He stressed that only Israeli ships or ships carrying goods to the regime are prohibited from passing, but America is seeking to extend this situation to all ships. According to a member of Ansarullah's political office, the US attack on Yemen is a cause of instability and a threat to international shipping as many companies have said they will not cross the Red Sea following the US action. Since the beginning of the Gaza War and the Zionist regime's brutal attack on the enclave, Yemen has warned Israel many times and demanded an end to the war, but in November, following the continuation of the Gaza conflict, it began attacking ships associated with the Israeli regime in the Red Sea. The Yemeni army has pledged to continue attacking regime ships or ships heading to the occupied territories in the Red Sea until the Israeli regime stops attacks on the Gaza Strip.
