USA against TikTok, Montana becomes first state to ban it

Montana Governor Richard Gianforte signed into law a law prohibiting online app stores from offering China's video sharing platform.The law is set to be challenged in the courts and will become a test case for an eventual national ban on the Chinese video-sharing app, considered by large sections of Congress a threat to national security given possible links with the authorities of Beijing, reported in recent days by a former employee, who told of the collection of user data by the video social network.
