Washington's new emphasis on unconditional support for the Zionist regime
In a telephone conversation with the Minister of War of the Zionist regime, the US Secretary of Defense once again emphasized Washington's unconditional support for this regime.
According to the US Department of Defense website, Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement on Saturday evening (local time): "Lloyd Austin, US Secretary of Defense, in a telephone conversation with Yoav Galant, the Minister of War of the Zionist regime, discussed the release of the hostages and the latest situation in the sector Gaza". Continuing this conversation, Austin once again emphasized Washington's unconditional support for the Zionist regime. At the end of the call, the Secretary of Defense briefed Gallant on the actions of the US military to protect US forces and interests throughout the West Asia region. The Pentagon said that in the telephone conversation, Austin emphasized US support for Israel and the importance of preventing an escalation of tensions in the region (West Asia). According to the Central European organization Human Rights Watch, more than 21,000 people have been martyred in Gaza since October 7, including 8,176 children.
