The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that the republic is preparing for the situation when there may be a war, for which the necessary preparations are being made and various types of weapons are being supplied to the troops, writes BelTA.

" Don't believe anyone that we want to go to war, we are preparing for war, I'm being honest about this. If you want peace, prepare for war. I did not invent this, but this is very rightly said," said the leader of Belarus.

According to him, the necessary training of relevant units is conducted in the country, various types of weapons and equipment are supplied to the troops.

" If someone from there (unfriendly countries) howls and criticizes us, know that we are doing the right thing. If they start praising us there, it's a disaster," the head of Belarus said.

The head of state emphasized that Belarus does not threaten anyone.

" We don't need to threaten anyone. We don't want someone else's land. God willing, let us cultivate our land," said Lukashenko.
