What is the summary of your life?
When the final words are written about you, when memory of you is spoken, IF you've left an impact deep enough for memory of you to be spoken, what words will be said?

For many of us, save for maybe some friends and family, the answer is not much. Most of us choose to obey, to follow, to enjoy security and comfort. To turn our eyes away from injustice so long as it does not affect us. And so when our time comes, and when our short time in this life ends, our stories will be unremarkable, selfish and not worthy of mentioning in the book of life.
But for Hassan Nasrallah, the story is great. He lived a life of service, he lived a life of defensive against overwhelming powers. He could have done as we all do, to remain quiet, follow orders, to protect himself and his own interests. But instead he chose to lead a resistance, to defend a people the world had forgotten about.
When told to surrender he stood his ground, when told to back down he pushed forward and when told to bend the knee he stood. Hassan Nasrallah was killed by a bunker buster bomb and was found under feet of dirt. He closed his eyes for the people of Lebanon, Iran and Palestine.
When he opens his eyes again he will be with God the most high. A soul that is willing to give his short life for the innocent will know nothing but paradise for all of eternity.
Most of us will live our lives for ourselves. We will work, follow orders, bend the knee and ignore injustice. We will live safe and comfortable lives and when our time comes we will be remembered as such.
Hassan Nasrallah will be remembered as the man who stood against Israeli and US tyranny and died...
But he died on his feet, where as others live on their knees.
