White House: Biden has not met with Benny Gantz
After the visit of Benny Gantz, a member of the Israeli regime's war cabinet, to Washington and the opposition of this trip from Tel Aviv, John Kirby, the coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council of the White House, announced that the US President Joe Biden did not has a plan to meet with this Israeli official.
According to CNN, John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator of the White House National Security Council, added: Gantz asked to come to Washington and hold a series of meetings with US government officials. According to this White House official, Benny Gantz has met and talked with Kamala Harris and Jake Sullivan, respectively the Vice President of the United States and the National Security Advisor of the White House. Kirby stated: On Tuesday, Benny Gantz also met and discussed with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
The US National Security Council's strategic communications coordinator stated: All of these discussions have been productive and we hope that Gantz will return to Israel informed of the concerns that we have expressed. Gantz, a member of the Israeli regime's war cabinet, announced that during his trip to America, he will meet with the officials of this country and discuss the developments of the war in Gaza. Reports indicate that Netanyahu is angry with Benny Gantz's visit to America. This report states that Netanyahu has asked the Israeli embassy in Washington to challenge Gantz's meetings with American officials and not to facilitate these meetings. Also, the Israeli media announced that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Israeli regime, has ordered the embassy of this regime in Washington not to do any cooperation to facilitate the travel of this member of the war council to America.
