World Anti-Fascist Forum held in Venezuela
The "Anti-Fascist Global Parliamentary Forum" was held in Venezuela with the participation of 300 representatives from all over the world. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro evaluated the "Anti-Fascist Global Parliamentary Forum" meeting as a global network to strengthen the fight against fascism, as presented by the representatives present at this historic event. Maduro also touched on the history of colonialism and crimes committed against indigenous peoples, noting that the African continent is like a mother representing all its nations, subjected to colonial oppression, plunder, murder and genocide. The Venezuelan President criticized the growth of extremist movements and racism in the world and stressed the need to confront fascism and Zionism. The purpose of this meeting was to create space for a global parliamentary dialogue in support of the sovereignty of countries and to develop a plan to defend the independence and sovereignty of Venezuela and the participating countries. In this meeting, the reasons for the re-emergence of fascism, the examination of resistance strategies against colonialism and neo-colonialism, as well as issues such as peaceful parliamentary democracy, the relations between imperialism, fascism and Zionism, sanctions and the defense of human rights were discussed in expert committees./
