Yemen: Arab League is incorrigible and America has a lot of influence in it

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen, criticizing the statement of the meeting of the Arab League last Saturday, stressed the lack of hope for the reform of the League.

According to the al-Masira news channel, Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the National Salvation Government said in a statement on Saturday evening that the meeting of the Arab League on the war of the aggressor countries of the Saudi-Emirati coalition against Yemen was no different from other meetings of this union and the statement published therein. The so-called "Jeddah Statement" described the war against Yemen as a crisis, not an aggression.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry stressed that the Saudi coalition committed a brutal aggression and siege of the Yemeni people, which became the worst humanitarian crisis in modern history. The ministry pointed out that the Jeddah statement emphasized the need to stop foreign interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries, but this despite the fact that the countries of the Saudi coalition have been openly interfering in the internal affairs of Yemen for the ninth year in a row.

The Ministry stressed that the reform of the Arab League and the development of joint Arab activities is still an unattainable dream; Because America has a deep influence in the Union. Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates and a number of other countries, has been carrying out military aggression against Yemen since March 2015 and blockading the country from land, sea and air. The incitement by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far resulted in the deaths of over 16,000 Yemenis, the injury of tens of thousands, and the displacement of millions of Yemenis.
