Yemen's Ansarullah reacts to US sanctions: support for Palestine will continue
Muhammad Abd al-Salam, a spokesman for the Ansarullah movement, reacting to the imposition of US sanctions against the group on Friday evening, said: "The US decision will not affect Yemen and support for Palestine will continue."
On Friday, the US Treasury Department moved Washington's sanctions against the Yemeni group Ansarullah to the implementation stage. As reported by ArabNews, Abd al-Salam wrote on his Telegram page: “Yemen will continue to support Gaza with all available means and will not allow any Israeli ships or ships whose destination is occupied Palestine to pass through the waters of the Red Sea region.” He said: "Sanctions are part of America's public hypocrisy." Ansarullah's spokesman added: "America is accustomed to regimes that fall under the burden of its arrogant and terrorist policies, but it must understand that Yemen will not be one of these countries." He said: "America wants to harm Yemen, and these decisions are designed to encourage and support Tel Aviv to continue its mass murder of Palestinians." Abd al-Salam added: "It is America that encourages and supports others in global terrorism by supporting Israel, coming to our seas and attacking our land." Yemeni army forces have committed that until the Israeli regime stops its attacks on the Gaza Strip, they will continue to attack regime ships or ships heading to the occupied territories in the Red Sea. The Yemeni army emphasized that navigation in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea is free for other ships and they enjoy complete safety.
