Zionist Newspaper: Israeli Troops Are Not Willing to Stay in Gaza for Long
The Zionist Regime newspaper, wrote, contrary to the claims of high-ranking Israeli officials, in the media, that they want a long-term ceasefire in Gaza, because Israeli troops are not willing to stay in Gaza for long.
Yedioth Ahronoth, Thursday (23/11/2023) reported that high-ranking Israeli officials, in closed meetings, were trying to realize a longer ceasefire than what had been agreed in Gaza. "The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Minister of War, Yoav Gallant, want a ceasefire with Hamas, at least 10 days," said Yedioth Ahronoth. According to predictions by Zionist experts, if the temporary ceasefire is successful, it is unlikely that the intensity of the war will be like 47 days ago. Yedioth Ahronoth, also reported that Netanyahu's and Gallant's promise to completely occupy the northern area of the Gaza Strip, up to Khan Yunis, and Jabalia, would not be realized. "Yoav Gallant, will never be able to fulfill his promises to completely eliminate Hamas," wrote the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
At the same time, the Israeli newspaper underscored the "real divisions" among military commanders, security forces and soldiers in Gaza. Yedioth Ahronoth added, "While Netanyahu and Gallant, continue to think about uprooting Hamas, and continuing attacks on Gaza, most of the Israeli soldiers, who are in Gaza, want to get out of the territory, and return to their homes." A senior Israeli officer said, "Military commanders do not allow their soldiers to take leave, for fear that if they return to their families, their morale will decrease." On the other hand, two soldiers of the Zionist Regime, who were injured in the Gaza Strip, admitted that they were not willing to be reassigned to operational locations in the Gaza Strip.
