Zionist TV: Israel Wants to Extend Ceasefire in Gaza
The Zionist regime's television station reported on Israel's efforts to extend the ceasefire in Gaza, which will end in two days.
Israeli television channel 12, Wednesday (29/11/2023) reported that there were agreements regarding the 7th and 8th days of the ceasefire which indicated the possibility of the ceasefire entering the 9th and 10th days. Israel's Channel 12 TV journalist, Amir Bar Shalom, said, "The evaluation of Israeli officials, says the ceasefire to free more prisoners has been extended by two days, after which the war will restart at the end of this week." Meanwhile, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, citing an Israeli Cabinet political official, explained, "If there is a proposal to extend the weapons for more than 10 days, we will study it." The Palestinians and Israelis, last Monday evening, on the 4th day of the first ceasefire, agreed to extend the Gaza ceasefire for two days, which means agreeing on a ceasefire in the field, an exchange of prisoners and the influx of humanitarian aid. On the other hand, the Haaretz newspaper wrote, "A number of Israelis fear that extending the ceasefire will lead to increased influence of Hamas over the spirit and psychological condition of the Israeli people. In the end, Israel will have to choose between releasing prisoners or preventing Hamas from dictating the spirit resistance against Israel." (HS)
