Mohamed Ibrahim, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health of Khartoum State has announced the news and added that the injured have been transferred to Al-Nao and Sawaed hospitals. He noted that the number of those killed may be higher as the rescue team cannot reach and identify some of the injured.
Until we received this news, the RSF group had not commented on the attack.
Since April 15, 2023, Sudan has been in a major conflict between the Sudanese Army and the RSF, causing at least 16,650 people to be killed and millions of people displaced. That is according to United Nations statistics.
The media of the Sudanese army says that the RSF group has been repeatedly attacking the Sabreen market area in recent days.
Mohamed Ibrahim, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Khartoum state, has said that the RSF has attacked the Sabreen market in Karari and the number of those killed may increase as most of the injured are in serious condition.
The power-hungry conflict between military generals, that is, between the RSF group, led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo "Hemetti" and the Sudanese SAF led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, since April 2023 has led millions of people to flee their homes causing a major humanitarian crisis.
