A UN reporter accused Britain of denying the genocide in Gaza

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian lands has criticized the British Foreign Minister's remarks about the genocide taking place in Gaza and said that he denies that the crime occurred in the Palestinian territory.

Francesca Albanese has called British Foreign Secretary David Lammy a "genocide denier" and said Britain has done "nothing" to stop the atrocities in Gaza.The Middle East Eye news website has published the statement and wrote that: At the end of October, Lammy denied the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza.

He said, it is possible that Lammy's statement was made for "political interests", but even so, such a statement can inform someone as a "genocide denier".On October 29, the British Foreign Minister, David Lammy said that the Zionist regime of Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza, because the number of martyrs in its attacks does not reach millions of people!!

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights says, he did not know that Lammy is a lawyer, adding that it is surprising to hear such comments from someone who knows the law.

Nearly fifty thousand Palestinians have been martyred, most of them women and children, in the ongoing genocide carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Thousands of other Palestinians remain unaccounted for, and are thought to be under the rubble of thousands of destroyed homes in the Gaza Strip.
