Qatar warns of UNRWA ban

The government of Qatar has warned about the action of sanctioning the activities of the United Nations Organization for Serving Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and emphasized the urgency of respecting the rights of Palestinians.

The warning was issued by Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, one of the members of Qatar's permanent mission to the United Nations and stressed that Doha's position regarding UNRWA's activities is stable.

The Qatari official at the United Nations has noted that his country will continue to provide its empire with its diplomatic and financial support to the institution.

He has also warned that the banning of UNRWA's activities will cause dangerous humanitarian and political consequences, especially the denial of essential services to millions of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of the Jordan River.

Recently, the Knesset (parliament) of the Zionist administration passed a law against UNRWA last week with the approval of 92 representatives against the opposition of 10 representatives, which bans the activities of UNRWA in the areas occupied by the graft regime since 1948.

At the same time, the Commissioner General of UNRWA has warned that, if the law banning UNRWA activities is implemented then there will be a big disaster including in the education sector.

Another 18 Palestinians have been martyred in a new crime committed by the army of the illegal Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian circles report that the Palestinians have been martyred in the attacks carried out today by the Zionist enemy in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

In addition, dozens of Palestinians have been injured while continuing to witness major infrastructure damage in the Strip.

The Media Office of the Government of the Gaza Strip has announced that the brutal Israeli soldiers have killed more than 2,000 civilians in the north of the strip after the regime launched a campaign to completely destroy everything in the area since the last 40 days.

Last October, the Zionist regime launched a campaign to completely destroy everything, including all the residents of northern Gaza, with thousands of people forced to leave the area, including doctors.

No food has entered northern Gaza since then as the Zionist regime continues to brutally attack Palestinians to force them to move.
