After the Quran, now mosques are being burned in Sweden
The Eskilstuna Grand Mosque was badly damaged due to a fire that was allegedly set intentionally, after previously receiving threats and attacks. Anas Daneche, Communications Director of the Eskilstuna Grand Mosque, in southeastern Sweden, Tuesday (26/9/2023) as quoted by Radio Sveriges, believes that the extensive fire at this mosque was set deliberately. According to him, the Eskilstuna Grand Mosque, based on information from the Swedish police, has continued to receive threats since the last year, and has been the target of attacks. Meanwhile, the Swedish police admitted that they had not named a person or group as a suspect in the mosque fire, but admitted that they were carrying out an investigation. On the other hand, Mikail Yuksel, a member of the Swedish Parliament, on account X (Twiter) wrote, "Yet another act of terror targeting mosques in Sweden." "This is another brutal attack on human rights, and on democracy and freedom in Sweden, a country known as a humanitarian superpower," he stressed.
