Russia Ready for Direct Field Confrontation with NATO
Former president and deputy of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said it seemed Russia had no choice but to engage in direct confrontation with NATO on the battlefield. The New York Times newspaper quoted two top American defense officials who declined to be identified as reporting that the first series of Abrams tanks were delivered to Ukraine on Saturday, several months ahead of schedule. US Abrams Tank As reported by TRT, Dmitry Medvedev Tuesday (26/9/2023) in his Telegram message wrote, " Apparently, there is no other choice for Russia except direct conflict with NATO, which has openly turned into a fascist bloc centered on Hitler with a larger dimension, on the battlefield;
“We are ready to face this conflict, even though its impact will harm humanity more than in 1945.” Further in his message, Medvedev touched on three vital factors that sparked this direct conflict, and wrote, “The first was the Nazi friendship with Canada led by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Parliament. Second, the delivery of Abrams tanks from NATO arsenals to Ukraine, and third, the promise of delivery of long-range missiles to the Kyiv authorities. In addition, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, while hinting at the US Abrams tanks that recently arrived in Ukraine, said that these tanks, like other Western weapons, would burn in the Ukrainian war.
