Biden’s foreign policy

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the American magazine “The Nation” stated this introduction and reported: Joe Biden was unpopular in general and especially because of his management in foreign policy.

According to the report, “even among liberals and leftists who might rate Biden’s domestic policy highly, there is widespread criticism of Biden’s militarism, particularly his almost unconditional support for Israel’s brutal attacks on Palestinian civilians.”

According to the author of this article, for his allies among liberals and leftists, Biden is “not only a pathetic figure, but a real tragedy.”

The author then adds that, however, it cannot be easily judged, as Biden’s ambitious domestic agenda was inseparable from his foreign policy. Both stemmed from a holistic vision that emphasized the integration of military spending and domestic politics to restore America to the power it enjoyed at the height of its global dominance during the Cold War.

This American magazine continues to state that “Biden was not an enemy like Donald Trump who can be easily distanced from him, but a more complicated and dangerous person, a relative friend who caught us in his stupidity.”

Citing a Dec. 19 Wall Street Journal article, The Nation noted that Biden was surrounded by a group of supporters and tricksters who maintained an image of him as still in control.

This American magazine emphasized: Biden’s main belief was that his foreign policy was one of his greatest strengths, when in fact it was his Achilles’ heel [weakness].

According to this report, Biden’s popularity decreased sharply for the first time after the unsuccessful withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan; A policy that was justified in principle, but was damaged by poor implementation.

On the other hand, while Biden was proud of his support for Ukraine after the Russian invasion, there is evidence that his administration has undermined the important negotiations between the two countries in the spring of 2022; A fateful decision that prolonged this war.

“The Nation” continued: Ukraine’s possible agreement with Russia under the Trump administration will be far worse than any agreement that Ukraine could have reached in 2022, if Washington had not blocked the negotiations.

This American magazine further emphasized: By refusing to follow the laws of his country, Biden is a partner in these war crimes, and his hands will forever be stained with blood like Lady Macbeth [from the characters of the play “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare].
