Amnesty International: London must end denial of Gaza genocide

The Secretary General of Amnesty International has called on official London to acknowledge that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and to stop it. The organization announced on Thursday that the Zionist regime continues to commit genocide in Gaza.

The report was published on the basis of research conducted from October 7, 2023 to early July 2024. It should be noted that the International Court of Justice is investigating the complaint of the Republic of South Africa against the Zionist regime on charges of committing genocide in Gaza.

Sahab Agency reported that after the publication of the Amnesty International report, the organization's Secretary General Agnes Callamard, in an interview with Middle East Eye, asked British politicians to study the 300-page report and the evidence presented in it and stop denying the fact that genocide is taking place in Gaza.

Noting that genocide in Gaza is an undeniable fact, Callamard added: “By providing financial and military support to the Zionist army, the British, American and German governments are complicit in this genocide.” Responding to the report, the British Foreign Office reiterated Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s recent statement that the events in Gaza cannot be qualified as genocide.
