According to the Arab news agency, Zionist political sources reported that the Zionist regime has informed the Egyptian government of its intention to temporarily enter the Rafah area and the Philadelphia axis and that its presence in the area will not be permanent. According to these sources, Egypt opposed the above-mentioned request of the Zionist regime to be present in the region. These political sources reported that the Zionists tried to assure Egypt that they would never cause the forced migration of the Palestinian people to Egypt. Regarding the Philadelphia Axis, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the Zionist regime is negotiating with Egypt to increase surveillance of the Philadelphia Axis as a communication crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip under the pretext of preventing increased tunnel construction by Hamas. Leaders of the Zionist regime, including the regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, say they must gain control of this border area under the pretext that Hamas is moving weapons from this corridor into the Gaza Strip, but the Egyptian authorities have not allowed this until now regime to dominate the Philadelphia axis.
