Trump's words provoked a demonstration by the construction union. The participants expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the United States and also called on the Panamanian authorities to respond more harshly to such attacks.
Earlier, Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino said that the issue of ownership of the Panama Canal is not up for discussion.
