Apartheid beyond Muslims: Christians Face Discrimination in Israel

You have probably come across this statement repeatedly in the Western media: "Israel is the only democracy in the West Asian region!" But looking beyond media propaganda, what is truly happening in Israel? The fascist approaches adopted by the Israeli regime towards Muslims, which have gained significant international attention, are frequently cited as evidence of systematic apartheid in the occupied territories. However, it is not just Muslims who face apartheid; even Christians within this regime are not safe from extremist Jews who receive support from the Israeli government. For centuries, Christians, much like Muslims, have been inhabitants of Palestine. Nevertheless, Haredi rabbis, with the direct backing of the government, obstruct Christian missionaries from engaging in religious activities in Bayt al-Muqaddas [Jerusalem]. Countless instances of hateful graffiti on church walls, Physical attacks on Christians and churches, And even harassment of Christian tourists visiting Israel from other countries have been reported. These examples only scratch the surface of the various apartheid methods employed by Israel against non-Jewish religions. In light of these circumstances, it is only natural to question the Western media: do they still maintain the belief that democracy exists in Israel?
