Lone Wolves: A New Face of Palestinian Resistance

Lone Wolves: A New Face of Palestinian Resistance

The Palestinian resistance operations in the first half of 2023 resulted in 34 deaths in the ranks of the Zionists. This is in stark contrast to the mere four deaths recorded two years ago. The Palestine Studies Center has published statistics on resistance operations in the West Bank, revealing that in the first six months of this year, the Palestinian youth have carried out over 6,700 operations. The cities of Nablus, Jenin, and Hebron have recorded the highest number of these operations. These operations have raised doubts about the credibility of the security and military apparatus of the Zionist regime, further escalating tensions between the cabinet and the army. The Zionists are left perplexed, struggling to understand the circumstances that have led to such a remarkable surge in resistance operations. The method employed, commonly referred to as "Lone Wolves," involves operatives without any security records meticulously planning and independently executing their operations.
