Arab League Secretary General: We oppose the displacement of Gaza residents
The Secretary General of the League of Arab States, at a meeting of the Security Council regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, said: “The Arab countries oppose the displacement of the population of Gaza.”
According to ArabNews, Ahmed Aboul Gheit added: "The Zionist regime's brutal actions against the people of Gaza only cause more violence." The Secretary-General of the Arab League stressed that the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Rafah crossing should be supported, and noted: “We must support the Palestinian people.” Abul Gheit stressed that the League of Arab States opposes the forced displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip. Western support for Israel under the pretext of the right to self-defense is practically a green light and license for the Zionist regime to continue the brutal murder of Palestinian children and women.
